The year is 1897, and the Roman Promenade is set to be formally opened by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Cambridge. A star-studded guest list includes notable figures such as John Brydon, the celebrated architect of the new buildings; Mr. John Stone, Town Clerk and overseer of the building design competition; and esteemed Detective Charles Dunsford.
Amidst the glamour, controversy brews over the potential attendance of Major Charles Edward Davis, the City Architect whose architectural designs were rejected in a dramatic Council competition. Will he show up, or is he hiding in the shadows?
One thing is certain: the night will be full of surprises and drama as you and your fellow guests work together to uncover the truth. Fancy dress is encouraged, but not required.
