The Roman Baths

Located in the heart of the World Heritage Site and nearly 2000 years old, the iconic Roman Baths feature the remarkably preserved remnants of one of the ancient world’s most significant religious spas.

About The Roman Baths

Filled with the same waters of the natural thermal springs, today visitors can step on the original Roman pavements and immerse themselves in the ruins of the temple, as well as visit the neighbouring museum for the perfect day out.

To enjoy both The Roman Baths and Pump Room Restaurant, take advantage of our Roman Baths and Pump Room Experience. Your visit will start with a delicious brunch or afternoon tea in the iconic Pump Room, accompanied by a glass of fizz beneath the chandelier, before completing your day with a visit to the museum.

Private Hire

During the day, the museum and restaurant welcome visitors, while two small rooms offer a perfect setting for meetings or lunches. In the evening, once the daytime guests have departed, these elegant buildings transform into stunning and atmospheric venues for private events.

This location is ideal for weddings or drinks receptions before dinner in the Pump Room above. With a variety of spaces available for hire, the building can accommodate both large and small events effortlessly.
